Heron Ridge is a very small wine farm on Winery Road. Boasting a sea view from Cape Point to Hangklip the terroir is a dream for wine making as the temperature remains below 35 degrees Celsius which helps the vines ripen their fruit slowly and evenly. New vines were planted in 1999, two thirds Shiraz and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon and until this year the wine was a blend of both.
