Petro Lessing Attorneys & Conveyancers is situated at Strand in the Western Cape province. Petro Lessing is the practising attorney and conveyancer who practises under her own name since 1997.

She studied at University of Pretoria from January 1983 to December 1987 and obtained the following degrees:

Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) on 29/03/1988,

Baccalaureus Commercial Law on 07/04/1986

Petro Lessing Attorneys & Conveyancers attends to immovable property related matters, drafting of agreements of sale and registration of property transfers. We deliver personal and professional service, with numerous satisfied and loyal clients who never looks back.

In addition to conventional and sectional transfers and private bond registrations, the firm also attends to the listing of subdivisions, consolidations and endorsement of deeds for various purposes, such as estate matters, amendments to deeds, releases and cancellations of private bonds, cancellation of title conditions, acquiring various consents for different purposes, general property-related advice, and the drafting of property-related agreements.

E4 Legal Studio conveyancing software is currently being used for document generation. We also make use of SearchWorks to link to the Deeds Registries for deed searches directly and obtaining copies of registered documents. Furthermore, is the firm connected to CIPC Companies Registry which gives access to its recorded information.

Her first employment, after her formal studies, was at the Deeds Office in Pretoria from January 1988 to November 1989, where she obtained in July1990 an additional qualification - a Technikon RSA National Diploma in Registration of Deeds

After that, Petro completed a two-year articles/clerkship at a reputable attorney firm in Kempton Park between 1989 and 1991. Between 1991 and 1997 Petro practised at well-known attorney firms in Kempton Park. She was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer by the Supreme Court Transvaal Provincial Division on 28 January 1992.  On 17 December 1997, she started her own practice as Petro Herbst Duggan Attorney Firm in Kempton Park and the name was changed to Petro Lessing Attorneys & Conveyancers in January 2014.
