The founder and managing director, Maryke van der Merwe, finished her Diploma in Health and Skin Care with Honours at Isa Carstens Academy, Stellenbosch and has her CIDESCO and SAAHSP. She also achieved an award for the best theory mark in CIDESCO from Isa Carstens Academy. She has been in the beauty industry for about 5 years. She, herself, has suffered from some skin problems, therefore she likes her clients to see results. She enjoys helping her clients relax from every day busy life, as she has learned that stress produces de-stress in the body, which will turn to disease if nothing is done about the stress. She realises that stress has many facets, therefore she likes to improve the well-being of the client through an integrated approach. Growing up with a dad who is a Springbok cyclist and has his own health business, has helped her to look at health and wellness from a different perspective.
Revive Wellness and Beauty would like its clients to walk out feeling more relaxed and better about themselves.
Mobile Services
Revive Wellness and Beauty brings its own massage bed to treatments. We need space to set up our mobile bed (which can hold up to 200kg) and to be able to walk around freely. We also need water and electricity dependant on which treatment you booked. Prices of the treatments exclude transport costs except within a 5km radius of PicknPay in Strand.
