ABOUT US
We said goodbye to the big city in search of a place where one could live harmoniously with nature. What we found was something extraordinary. Something that needed to be shared with, and enjoyed by others.

Family Log Cabin
This spacious, peaceful, and family-friendly log cabin is the perfect place to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. It is suitable for a family of 4 or 4 people sharing. The large open-plan kitchen—dining—lounge area creates a beautiful entertainment space before leading into two well-appointed bedrooms. With forest views from every window, everyone gets a share of the forest's beauty. A large deck that overlooks the pool, completes this wonderful experience.
This cabin is a self-catering unit. All linen and bathroom towels are supplied, and the cabin is adequately furnished.
Little Log Cabin
This is a charming log cabin perfect for 2 people. Surrounded by trees that attract all the local forest birds, including the infamous Knysna Loerie, this cabin provides the best spot to view nature at its best. Sitting quietly on the cosy deck and letting nature come to you, is highly recommended and never fails to disappoint our guests. This cabin leads directly into the forest from its back door which is a delight to explore. Little Log Cabin is a self-catering unit. All linen and bathroom towels are supplied and the cabin is well furnished.
Stone Cottage
This little Stone Cottage is the perfect forest hideaway for 2 people. It is understated and simply charming. It boasts a delightful view of the forest and is well situated to receive that first ray of sunshine in the morning that streams through the windows. Stone Cottage is a self-catering unit. All linen and bathroom towels are supplied and the cottage is discreetly furnished.

Robberg Nature Reserve
The Robberg Peninsula is a national monument, nature reserve and marine protected area that lies about 8km south of Plettenberg Bay. With unforgettable hiking trails, wildlife viewing, archaeological history and so much more to explore— the Robberg Nature Reserve is a must-visit.
Harkerville Mountain Bike Trails
An MTB dream. The Harkerville Cycle Routes are situated in the Harkerville forest between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. There are 4 routes catering for the beginner to the more advanced mountain biker.
Elephant Sanctuary The Crags
Visitors are taken on a journey into the world of the African elephant and are guided through an unforgettable experience with these magnificent creatures. Visitors are able to touch, feed and get to know these animals. The Elephant Sanctuary is unique in that it offers visitors the incredible opportunity to walk hand-in-trunk with the elephants. Enter the world of the Africa Elephant.
Guided 2 to 3–hour stand up paddling on the Keurbooms River
If you’re looking to get away from it all, this guided stand-up paddle boarding trip offers the chance to experience some peace and quiet on the Keurbooms River. The Keurbooms is a beautiful, but remote area. This tour provides transportation to and from the river, as well as a guide to help you experience the best the river has to offer. This is the perfect activity for friends or small groups of up to 12 people.
Cairnbrogie
Cairnbrogie covers over 100ha of coastal fynbos along South Africa’s spectacular Garden Route. A natural playground for the fitness fanatic, mountain bike junkie or even a family looking for some time in the great outdoors, Cairnbrogie has it all. From forests to coastal cliffs and secret coves, tracks and trails, sporting events and a great venue as well as a cafe and even a dairy. A stone's throw away from Tilting Trees Forest Lodge.
Birds of Eden
Birds of Eden’s unique two-hectare dome (the world's largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. Currently, it is home to over 3,500 birds from over 220 species, with the main focus being African birds. Visits to Birds of Eden are usually self-guided, however, guided walks are offered on request.
Monkey Land
Monkeyland is the world's first free-roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary. Its mission is to educate and foster a greater understanding of our primate cousins and the threats and challenges they are facing.
Old Nick Village
Old Nick Village in Plettenberg Bay is a landmark shopping destination on the Garden Route, featuring an eclectic collection of shops owned by creative manufacturers, designers and curators. Old Nick Village is so much more than a shopping centre it’s a truly sensory experience for the whole family as well as the discerning buyer.
Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre
Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation and Awareness Centre is located at The Crags in Plettenberg Bay. They offer a variety of conservation-based wildlife tours. This is certainly a must-see for nature lovers.
